Recap: Labor of Love Finale
Hey everybody! We made it to the finale and I couldn’t wait to give you my thoughts. It’s time for Kristy to make the hardest decision of her life. I kinda have an idea on who she’s going to chose but you never know until you know. Just from the preview be prepared for a lot of crying!
Recap: Labor of Love Episode 7
On this week’s episode, Kristy gets to visit the cities of the last three men standing - Kyle in Austin, Marcus (the doctor) in Cincinnati and Stewart in Los Angeles. Each guy will show Kristy their homes and introduce her to a few friends. The theme of this episode is AWKWARD!!! As if this show wasn’t awkward enough.
In the COVID-19 Economy, You Can Have a Kid or a Job. You Can’t Have Both.
Unpopular opinion coming up, you’ve been warned.

Ok DINKs and SINKS, I’m pushing through on these Labor of Love recaps! See what I did there….LOL.
Last week we said goodbye to Budge and Mario, who will go home this week? The guys get a message to grab a tablet and take a test, you know to gauge their intelligence.
Recap: Labor of Love Episode 2
Ok, I’m back with my Labor of Love Commentary. Last week on Labor of Love we said goodbye to Tale and Philip. Who will leave on this week’s episode?
When the episode opens with Budge talking about being a conservative man looking for an American girl… you have to think he may be on the chopping block later…
Recap: Labor of Love Episode 1
The following recap contains spoilers.
I had seen commercials for Fox’s latest reality show but didn’t quite get the concept and thought it was another dating show where they added dates with babies to see what they would look like as a play family. I’m not really into dating reality shows. Project Runway, Making the Cut, The First 48 (morbid, I know!) are more my speed. A listener to the podcast sent me a message to watch this show and maybe do some recaps. I thought ok, let me watch the first episode and see what it’s about. Well I guess I was sorta right about the premise of the show but basically Kristy is looking for a baby daddy. We live in a sad state where men and women are willing to go on television to artificially fulfill this societal norm.
SINK SitDown with Evie
On today’s episode I speak with Evie. She’s a first grade inclusion special education teacher in New Jersey and of course she’s childfree. We talk about what it’s like to teach during quarantine without the added burden of homeschooling her own children as well as the Kid Free Five!
Podcast Swap with Not-A-Momma Podcast
On today’s episode, I did a podcast swap with Raphie of the Not A Momma podcast. I’m all about collaboration, not competition and Raphie is for community over competition so we became fast friends and talk about all things childfree and of course the Kid Free Five!
Conversation with Kesha
Kesha is a speech therapy pathologist in the NYC Public Schools, works with St. Mary’s Children Hospital and has private clients. She talks about what it’s like to be childfree while in quarantine.
SINK SitDown with Latricia, Michelle and Stacy
As we continue to stay at home, only go out for essentials, wear face coverings while social distancing, I reached out to my previous SINK SitDown guests, Latricia, Michelle and Stacy to to hear how they are coping during the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID 19 - How are you surviving during these uncertain times
Hey DINKs and SINKs family! I wanted to check in with you. I have podcasts ready for publish but they involve travel and other topics I don’t feel are appropriate at this time.
I live in New Jersey where we have a stay at home executive order issued by the governor. I have been working from home for the last 2 weeks. If I’m being honest I hate it. I don’t mind staying at home, I don’t like being told to stay at home. Also, I don’t have a job where working from home is optimal.
Film Review: To Kid or Not to Kid
A few months ago, right around the time I started this podcast, this documentary was brought to my attention. Maxine was doing the rounds on all the morning shows and like many of us DINKs and SINKs, I saw her as bringing attention to my choice not to have kids in a positive light.
SINK SitDown with Stacy
Today’s podcast features Stacy, my friend for over 20 years. She lives in NYC, is a HR Director for a non-profit and a proud SINK.
Childfree in TV
s being childfree celebrated on television shows?
I found a few shows where characters talk about being childfree.
SINK Sit Down with Michelle
On today’s podcast, Mom of None welcomes Michelle to a SINK Sit Down.
SINK Sit Down with Latricia
On today’s podcast, Mom Of None welcomes Latricia to a SINK Sit Down.
What is a Family?
I was told by a member of the Mommy Mafia (check out episode 2, if you don’t know who they are) that I couldn’t use the term family because my husband and I don’t have children.
