Hey everybody!  We made it to the finale and I couldn’t wait to give you my thoughts.  It’s time for Kristy to make the hardest decision of her life.  I kinda have an idea on who she’s going to chose but you never know until you know.  Just from the preview be prepared for a lot of crying!

On this week’s episode, Kristy gets to visit the cities of the last three men standing - Kyle in Austin, Marcus (the doctor) in Cincinnati and Stewart in Los Angeles.  Each guy will show Kristy their homes and introduce her to a few friends.  The theme of this episode is AWKWARD!!! As if this show wasn’t awkward enough.

I had seen commercials for Fox’s latest reality show but didn’t quite get the concept and thought it was another dating show where they added dates with babies to see what they would look like as a play family. I’m not really into dating reality shows. Project Runway, Making the Cut, The First 48 (morbid, I know!) are more my speed. A listener to the podcast sent me a message to watch this show and maybe do some recaps. I thought ok, let me watch the first episode and see what it’s about. Well I guess I was sorta right about the premise of the show but basically Kristy is looking for a baby daddy. We live in a sad state where men and women are willing to go on television to artificially fulfill this societal norm.

On today’s episode I speak with Evie. She’s a first grade inclusion special education teacher in New Jersey and of course she’s childfree. We talk about what it’s like to teach during quarantine without the added burden of homeschooling her own children as well as the Kid Free Five!

On today’s episode, I did a podcast swap with Raphie of the Not A Momma podcast. I’m all about collaboration, not competition and Raphie is for community over competition so we became fast friends and talk about all things childfree and of course the Kid Free Five!

Kesha is a speech therapy pathologist in the NYC Public Schools, works with St. Mary’s Children Hospital and has private clients. She talks about what it’s like to be childfree while in quarantine.

As we continue to stay at home, only go out for essentials, wear face coverings while social distancing, I reached out to my previous SINK SitDown guests, Latricia, Michelle and Stacy to to hear how they are coping during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hey DINKs and SINKs family! I wanted to check in with you. I have podcasts ready for publish but they involve travel and other topics I don’t feel are appropriate at this time.

I live in New Jersey where we have a stay at home executive order issued by the governor. I have been working from home for the last 2 weeks. If I’m being honest I hate it. I don’t mind staying at home, I don’t like being told to stay at home. Also, I don’t have a job where working from home is optimal.

A few months ago, right around the time I started this podcast, this documentary was brought to my attention. Maxine was doing the rounds on all the morning shows and like many of us DINKs and SINKs, I saw her as bringing attention to my choice not to have kids in a positive light.

Today’s podcast features Stacy, my friend for over 20 years. She lives in NYC, is a HR Director for a non-profit and a proud SINK.
